Member Volunteer Support

Girls are required to perform a minimum of 20 hours of direct service each year, including at least 15 hours in her class’ partner philanthropies(Core Philanthropies). The additional five hours, and any further hours, may be performed in any of the above or below approved alternate philanthropy organizations OR the Madcaps can choose any non listed Non Profit 501c3 Organization and provide their Tax ID # when they input their hours.  Although each Junior member is required to perform at least fifteen hours in her class’ partner philanthropies, there is no requirement that those fifteen hours be completed before performing work for other approved MADCAPS philanthropies.

*9th grade receives priority registration for TRS summer camp; only after 9th grade has had the opportunity to sign up will the roster be opened to other grades.

Please login with your user account to find more information about the approved alternate philanthropy organizations, and how to contact them.  Members are encouraged to nominate new partner philanthropies for approval by the Board of Directors.  A form for this purpose is available from the Philanthropy Committee Chair,  madcapsphilanthropyboard@gmail.com.
