This is a referral form NOT the application. The interested member should fill out this form. Sponsors are not needed at this time. You will need one sponsor (not from the class of 2028) when you fill out the application. The application will be made available to you after the new member information meeting in October.
Prospective Senior members shall be limited to those who reside in zip codes 92103, 92106, 92107, or 92110 at the time of application who, together with their daughters, will aid and support the purpose of MADCAPS.
Active Senior members must be in good standing and have a daughter in 8th – 12th grade to sponsor or co-sponsor an incoming candidate. You may not be a sponsor if your daughter is in 7th grade. Active Senior members may sponsor only one candidate (in addition to being a legacy applicant in the same year) and co-sponsor one additional candidate each year.
The daughter of the prospective member must be in 6th grade.
A candidate who has a daughter entering 7th grade the following fall must complete a Referral Form and submit it to Membership Committee Chair no later than September 30th. The new candidate may self-nominate or be referred by an Active Senior member. If offered an application, new candidates must submit a completed application form.
Submit form no later than September 30th, 2022 at 11:55 pm.

Legacy Members: Any Active Senior member in good standing, or sustaining member (see below), who has a daughter entering 7th grade the following fall, must complete a Legacy Form and submit it to the Membership Committee Chair no later than September 30th. Submit form no later than September 30th, 2022 at 11:55 pm. No further application is necessary.
Sustainer Membership Clause: If a Senior member has more than one daughter, but there is a gap between the older daughter graduating or resigning and the younger daughter entering MADCAPS, the senior member may become a sustaining member during the gap years to keep her younger daughter eligible for membership in MADCAPS following the legacy process defined above.

Welcome to our website. This is our portal of communication to the public and our membership. "The purpose of MADCAPS is to involve mothers and daughters in direct service to and support of established philanthropic organizations. To further this purpose, mothers will actively nurture the training of their daughters in philanthropic commitments, teaching personal responsibility, as well as responsibility to the needs of others, so that all members may fully realize the benefits of involvement in the community."
Hello and welcome! I am so honored to serve as this year's Board President and am excited to reconnect with our membership and community at large. The past few years have been challenging to say the least but as we begin this new post-pandemic season, we look forward with optimism and renewed commitment to doing what MADCAPS does best...serving our community! Our mission is to involve mothers and daughters in direct service to and support of established philanthropic organizations. To further this purpose, mothers actively nurture the training of their daughters in philanthropic commitments, teaching personal responsibility as well as responsibility to the needs of others. Our goal is that all members may fully realize the benefits of involvement in the community. I am enormously proud of our membership and know that together, we CAN and WILL do some wonderful things!
This summer, our members have returned to in-person volunteering which has reignited our mission of service and passion for engaging in our communities. From serving food at Father Joe's Village to swinging hammers at Habitat for Humanity, our members are making a real difference in the communities we serve. We can hardly wait to meet up with everyone at our all member general meeting in September to introduce our dynamic board, share information about our philanthropies, and reconnect . We look forward to welcoming our newest members from the Class of 2028 and introducing them to the many reasons we love being a part of MADCAPS.
